Patrimonio is a subtle blend of rums from the legendary Foursquare distillery in Barbados. The secret of its finesse lies in the mastery of its blending with rums that have reached their peak in high quality barrels: a 14-year-old rum exclusively aged in ex-bourbon barrels and a 10-year-old rum in ex-bourbon barrels.
Bourbon barrel then 4 years in ex-sherry barrels. Its velvety texture reveals great indulgence between the vanilla notes of Bourbon and the fruity notes of sherry. With its 100% tropical aging and high-alcohol bottling, Patrimonio is a new masterpiece by Richard Seale.
NOSE: gourmet and spicy. Vanilla, sherry, wet wood, coconut, olives, chocolate, brown sugar.
PALATE: complex and ample. Tobacco leaves, caramel. Slightly smoky, notes of bitter chocolate, sweet spices (nutmeg, star anise).
FINISH: long and smooth. Vanilla notes, red fruit jelly, cocoa.
