The Mauritius is a nine year old cane juice rum with seven years of tropical aging, distilled in a column still and bottled at a cask strength of 57.9%. This remarkable rum comes from Mauritius and was distilled by the Distillerie de Labourdonnais, who only rarely release their rums through independent bottlers, and never with their own name. In this case however, the people behind the Distillerie de Labourdonnais were so impressed by The Duchess's; methods, that exclusive permission was granted for the use of the distillery's own name on the label. We are honoured!
