This particular whisky is a 20 year old Ben Nevis, carefully matured in a refill butt. The maturation process began in February 1997 and concluded in May 2017, allowing the spirit to develop a rich and complex character over two decades.
A total of 626 bottles were produced for this exclusive release. Each bottle features the King of Diamonds on its label, adding a distinctive touch that aligns with the playing card motif of the series.
The whisky has been given the sub-name 'King of the Hills,' a nod to the iconic Ben Nevis mountain. This clever reference ties the product to both its geographical origin and the visual theme of the collection, rather than being an allusion to the lesser-known cartoon of the same name.
This product is being sold on behalf of a private client. As such no vat can be claimed back.
