To commemorate the launch of the latest James Bond film, Champagne Bollinger introduces the Bollinger SPECTRE Limited Edition.

Bollinger SPECTRE Limited Edition Bottle: This special release features a distinctive Bollinger cuvée from the 2009 vintage, created exclusively to honour the enduring partnership between Champagne Bollinger and James Bond.

Presented in a sophisticated black cool-box designed by Carré Basset, the bottle boasts embossed silver Bollinger and 007 branding. The outer case is styled to resemble the textured grip of 007’s iconic Walther PPK, while the insulated interior is designed to keep the champagne chilled for up to two hours once it leaves the fridge.

A Lasting Partnership: The SPECTRE Limited Edition highlights the ongoing alliance between EON Productions, makers of the Bond films, and the House of Bollinger.

Remarkably, this partnership is rooted in a gentlemen’s agreement formed in the early 1970s, when Bollinger was managed by Madame Bollinger’s nephews, Claude d’Hautefeuille and Christian Bizot. They aimed to uphold their aunt’s legacy by nurturing the Bollinger brand and preserving its traditions. When film producer Albert ‘Cubby’ Broccoli was searching for a Champagne House that embodied James Bond’s refined taste and style, he selected Bollinger. Although the House was known for its reserved nature, Broccoli built a friendship with Christian Bizot over a shared appreciation for wine, cementing the partnership. Since then, Bollinger has been featured in 13 Bond films and has served as the exclusive Champagne partner since Moonraker in 1979.

James Bond’s first experience with Bollinger was in literature; in the novel Diamonds Are Forever, Tiffany Case sends him a bottle to his cabin aboard the Queen Elizabeth. Bollinger’s cinematic debut came when Roger Moore’s Bond ordered it from room service in Live and Let Die. From that point forward, Bollinger has remained Bond’s Champagne of choice in every film appearance.
