Canard-Duchêne Cuvee Léonie.
A tribute to the co-founder of Maison Canard-Duchêne, the Léonie cuvée is produced in a harmonious and balanced style favoring the freshness and original purity of the fruit.
Brut Léonie champagne benefits from a precise blend composed of at least 45% Pinot Noir highlighting the Montagne de Reims and the Champagne terroir. The Cellar Master also selects for blending a collection of reserve wines, part of which comes from his perpetual reserve, bringing freshness and generosity.
Low dosage, we find all the expression of the grapes carefully selected during the harvest.
TASTING NOTES
To the eye, we admire a pretty dress of a radiant pale gold.
On the nose, ripe and juicy yellow fruits like peach transport us to an orchard under a summer sun.
On the palate, we appreciate the aromas of exotic fruits such as candied pineapple. We can sense notes of dried flowers and toasted flavors enhanced by sweet spices. The generous tasting is very fresh.
A word from the Cellar Master, Laurent Fédou: "Cuvée Léonie Brut is an elegant champagne. Freshness and exoticism are its hallmarks."
