Canard-Duchêne Cuvee Vintage 2015.
Like an extremely mild and rainy autumn, the year 2015 was not marked by a harsh winter, on the contrary we note the absence of strong frosts. From the month of May, the drought sets in and this until mid-August for a very hot summer. Inspite of an episode of intense rain, the grapes will have benefited from a dry weather and a large sun exposure to gain in maturity.
TASTING NOTES
EYE: A pretty pale gold colour.
NOSE: Citrus notes with lemon, expressive aromas of fresh fruit such as apricot.
PALATE: The palate is elegant and refreshing with lemon and bergamot aromas. A nice tonicity accompanied by vegetal touches.
A word from the Cellar Master, Laurent Fédou: "A vintage from the most beautiful terroirs of the Champagne region which presents a beautiful intensity and a lot of freshness."
