A six-bottle case of exceptional white wines
Whites from around the world that work well together and match with many chicken, seafood and fish dishes. Due to current circumstances, a wine may become unavailable. If it does, we’ll substitute it for one of a similar style and price.
The mixed case contains:
A fresh white wine with notes of citrus, grapefruit, hawthorn and pineapple. On the palate the flavours of flowers and exotic fruits shine through, revealing a wine which is both floral and mineral.
The 2020 Single Vineyard Taylors Pass Sauvignon Blanc has lifted aromatics of fresh garden peas and blackcurrants mingled with herbs such as coriander. On the palate are concentrated flavours of jalapeño and lemongrass, with a punchy finish of lime zest and a hint of gunflint. A key point of interest in this wine is the chalky texture reminiscent of wet river stones.
Stone fruit aromas of apricot and peach with a flora touch and a delicate roasted note, the palate is fresh and full of minerality. It is a well-balanced wine thanks to the freshness and the fat of the White Grenache.
