Released for Whisky Show 2023, Chichibu London Edition celebrates the city's dynamic whisky culture and distinguishes itself from previous Chichibu releases through its unique selection of red wine and bourbon casks, as well as its exclusive availability at the event. Master blender Ichiro Akuto has expertly chosen casks aged between five and nine years, resulting in a remarkable expression. The whisky offers vibrant notes of ripe mango and delicate lilac, alongside warm incense spice reminiscent of aromatic sandalwood. These are complemented by hints of honeyed oak, zesty citrus, and a subtle earthiness evoking the scent of a fresh forest floor, making it both intriguing and approachable for enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
