The seasonal small batch releases showcase the signature Lochlea style in four different ways each year.
As a working farm, these expressions tie-in to reflect the farming calendar. In our Harvest Edition (Third Crop), they have carefully selected Port casks, STR barriques and first-fill Bourbon barrels to offer a deliciously different twist this year.
Whereas last year’s release utilised STR casks, John has gone for more sherry presence in the 3rd Crop, giving a deeper more powerful flavour. Add in the first fill port, and we have a proper fruit bomb to round off the trilogy of Harvest releases!
NOSE: Bright red grapes, fresh strawberry jam and clotted cream
PALATE: Sweeter notes of baked apple pie and white chocolate
FINISH: Beautifully balanced, with savoury notes of cracked black pepper.

All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other microclimatic factors.
