Over the past few years, the seasonal small batch releases have showcased the signature Lochlea style in four different ways. As a working farm, these expressions tie-in with exactly what is happening there at that time of year.
Ploughing Edition (Third Crop) is the fourth in a new and final set of four limited editions, marking the end of the Seasonal trilogy. They have matured their signature Lochlea spirit in Ex-Islay Barrels, and the liquid is one year older than the 2023 Edition. The powerful peated casks and extra ageing combine to produce our smokiest whisky released to date!.
NOSE: Fresh green apple, sweet toffee and comforting notes of signature Lochlea cereal.
PALATE: More fresh fruit, giving way to wonderful savoury smoke and malted biscuits.
FINISH: Moreish fresh coastal notes of sea salt and a long lingering hint of peat.

All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other microclimatic factors.
