LOCATION: Chassagne Montrachet, situated in the south of the Côte de Beaune, is one of the 5 villages of the prestigious "Côte des Blancs". Turned East and South East, the soil of the Premiers Crus in Chassagne is mainly composed of clay and limestone.
VINEYARD INFORMATION: Overhanging the valley which separates the Mont Rachet and Chassagne, this vineyard is situated on a not very deep and stony ground.
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION: Grapes are harvested by hand and put in small cases in order not to damage the fruits. Grapes are pressed softly, they ferment in oak barrels produced by our cooperage. 1/3 are new barrels. Aging usually lasts 15 months on fine lies before bottling.
