Zuccardi
Years before 1950, Alberto ‘Tito’ Zuccardi, the founder of Zuccardi, arrived in Mendoza. Driven by an enduring determination to combat the harsh desert environment, he began experimenting with irrigation systems. In 1963, he planted the family's first vineyard, intending to demonstrate his innovative and efficient irrigation methods. This experience ignited his passion for viticulture and laid the foundations for future generations of the Zuccardi family.
Bodega Zuccardi Valle de Uco is now steered by Tito's grandson, Sebastián Zuccardi. He continues the family’s mission to craft wines that embody purity and are deeply rooted in the distinctive terroir of the Uco Valley, nestled in the shadow of the majestic Andes Mountains. Their goal is to produce wines that reflect their origin, capture the essence of the soils, and showcase the extreme climate conditions unique to their vineyards, all of which can be experienced in every glass.
