The history of this range can be traced back to the very beginnings of Gordon & MacPhail. At that time, distillery spirit was chiefly produced for inclusion in blended whiskies, rather than as single malts. However, Gordon & MacPhail’s strong working relationships with distillery owners allowed them a unique opportunity.
They were permitted to bottle and sell the spirit as single malt whisky, provided that it carried their distinctive ‘house’ label featuring the caption: “bottled by Gordon & MacPhail”. This arrangement marked the foundation for their reputation and set the tone for the company’s ongoing involvement in the single malt market.
This product is being sold on behalf of a private client. As such no vat can be claimed back.
