This seven-year-old Lagavulin was released to market the 2022 Islay Jazz Festival. It’s been matured in a combination of American oak refill casks, and ex-bourbon hogsheads. The casks in question were personally chosen by Jordan Paisley, the distillery manager.
COLOUR: Pale sunlight, light beading with slim, slow legs.
NOSE: A mild nose with light prickle despite the strength.
PALATE: At natural strength, a smooth and gently oily texture, with a balance of soft sweetness and ever-present smoke.
FINISH: Qoute long, smoky and drying, as more than a little of the spicy heat entwines with the smoke in a pleasing and warming finale.

All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other microclimatic factors.
