Vineyard information: The Aux Cras vineyard is very well located. It is South-East oriented at an altitude of 260 m on a rather steep slope.
The soil is not very deep, it is very stony (explaining its name: Cras=formerly a quarry).
Vinification and maturation: Destemmed grapes ferment in vats during 3 to 4 weeks. Aging takes place in oak barrels produced by the CADUS cooperage during 18 months.
Wine serving temperature: 16-17.
Aging potential: 10 years and more, even 15/20 years.
