Aux Cras is a well-situated terroir near the centre of the Beaune slope and just above Theurons. Soils are a mix of red clay and small stones, and exposure is Southeast. Wines from this site are among the best of Beaune, prized for their complexity and age-worthiness. Pinot Noir here is harvested manually and brought to the nearby winery for triage, destemming, and natural fermentation in passive oak vats. After alcoholic fermentation is complete the wine is racked into oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and extended aging. Approximately 16 months later the cuvee is reassembled for bottling.

All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other microclimatic factors.
