From three plots on the Hermitage hill- alluvial soil 'Le Meal', clay-gravel 'Les Murets' and loess & granite 'Chante-Alouette' all with excellent exposure. 100% Marsanne combines the unique characteristics of each parcel and together with partial ageing in 600 litre demi-muids creates a beautiful example of Hermitage white. Complex characters of quince, walnut, honey, ginger and acacia shines on the elegant, long finish.
