From a small plot of 30+year old vines located in the Pira Barolo vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, this impressive wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and then aged in small neutral French oak casks for two years.
A very intriguing minty nose with exotic edges leads into a very serious wine. Its compact mineral structure, great tension and length are softened by a plush texture and plenty of ripe fruit. Serious acidity will keep this wine fresh for years to come.
