Tamdhu Dalbeallie VII.
Each year at Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, we announce a limited edition Dalbeallie Dram in honour of our famous Dalbeallie train station that sits alongside the river Spey and our distillery. Since its completion in 1899 until its closure in the 1960s, the station played a pivotal role in bringing Tamdhu’s precious sherry oak casks from Spain to Speyside.
On the nose, Dalbeallie VII gives vanilla, hints of clove, raspberry jam, shavings of dark chocolate and orange peel. To taste, demerara sugar, toffee, shortbread, baked fig and dark berries. To finish the Dalbeallie VII is warming with long sherry notes, gentle spice and lingering fruit.
