Highland
Highland single malts are single malt Scotch whiskies produced in the Highland region of Scotland. This category includes whiskies made on the islands around Scotland’s perimeter, known as Island single malts, but excludes those from Islay. Unusually, it also covers some areas in the north-east that are geographically considered lowland, such as Moray and Aberdeenshire.
