Vatted Malt
Blended malt whisky is a type of whisky made by combining single malt whiskies from two or more distilleries.
The term is used chiefly in relation to Scotch whisky and to whiskies produced in a similar style elsewhere. Earlier terms for this category included vatted malt and pure malt.
