THE OLDEST DISTILLERY ON THE ISLE OF SKYE: Talisker has been an integral part of island life since 1830. It’s in this land of extremes that our small distillery stands proudly by the sea, enduring the ever-changing elements that have shaped our whisky for almost 200 years.
ABOUT TALISKER 18 YEAR OLD: Talisker 18 Year Old delivers fruit which cascades into never-ending peat, offering a new dimension to discover.
BODY: Full bodied, pleasant and smooth.
FINISH: Medium length and chilli 'catch' in the finish.
NOSE: Rich and fruity Victoria plums, greengages, perhaps dried orange peel with some butterscotch or rum toffee and a thread of smoke behind.
PALATE: Sweet in front, then more assertive, with a whiff of smoke. The overall effect is warming. The development is towards smoke, coal-tar, and toffee. Intense layers of fruitiness and peat.

All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other microclimatic factors.
